Walk and Talk Therapy on Man O War Trail
Walk and Talk Therapy works by combining the benefits of physical activity with therapy. Physical activity has been shown to improve mental health by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, exercise releases endorphins, which are natural mood-boosting chemicals that promote feelings of happiness and well-being.
During a Walk and Talk Therapy session, the therapist and the client walk side by side, discussing the client's issues. Physical activity can help the client relax and feel more comfortable, making it easier to share their thoughts and feelings.
Investment
Fees for counseling vary based on services and provider. As mental health counselors, we believe in making mental health care accessible for all individuals; therefore, we accept commercial insurances. Currently, we accept Tricare, Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Cigna.
Private Pay Rates:
Individual Adult Counseling
$150 for 50 min session
$175 for 75 min session
For clients using insurance, only 50 min sessions are available
Cancellation and No Show Policies:
We understand that life happens and there may be times when sessions need to be rescheduled. However, for us to serve our clients efficiently, there will be a cancellation fee for any appointments that are missed or canceled within 24 hours of your appointment time.
